Our Urban Yoga Retreats are designed to be a perfect way to reset your body and mind, releasing the stress of everyday life.
The program devotes an entire morning to a longer session of yoga postures followed by pranayama (yoga breathing exercises) and meditation.
We then take a short break and a cup of chai, followed by the ancient deep relaxation technique called Yoga Nidra - the sleep of yoga.
Yoga Nidra is a beautiful, guided relaxation of about 45 minutes that lets the body sink into the deepest states of relaxation whilst still retaining awareness. It allows the body to rest, digest and rejuvenate. The technique also incorporates a personal affirmation, a potent moment of self improvement which is remembered whilst in deep relaxation, giving amazing results.
The program concludes with a nutritious and delicious vegetarian meal.
